IngredientsMemoHive Ingredients & The Real Evidence
MemoHive does something most competitors don't: it discloses a real dose for every ingredient. Here's what each one does — and why the biggest one by weight isn't the one doing the cognitive heavy lifting.
The five, and their evidence
- BCAAs 2:1:1 (540mg) — the largest ingredient by far. Well established for exercise recovery; much weaker evidence for memory or focus specifically.
- Bacopa Monnieri Extract (200mg) — the standout: one of the most studied herbs for memory support, though effects typically take 8–12 weeks.
- Rhodiola Rosea Extract (100mg, 3% salidroside) — an adaptogen for mental fatigue and stress resilience. Can be mildly stimulating.
- L-Theanine (100mg) — supports calm, alert focus without jitteriness, at a reasonable dose.
- Panax Ginseng Extract (90mg) — a traditional energy and cognition herb, at a dose on the lower end of typical studies.
The catch that matters here: the BCAAs make up over half the formula's total weight, but they're not really a "memory" ingredient — they're an exercise-recovery amino acid blend. The ingredients that actually matter for cognition (Bacopa, Rhodiola, L-Theanine, Ginseng) are present at smaller, real doses. We report exactly what's disclosed and never spin the numbers either way.
How to use this
- Judge the formula on Bacopa, Rhodiola, L-Theanine and Ginseng — not on the total weight.
- Take the list to your doctor, especially with diabetes, blood-pressure, blood-thinning or antidepressant/MAOI medicine.
- Get a diagnosis for persistent memory concerns — ingredients don't replace that.
